Whichever drive system you prefer, you'll enjoy plenty of pep, responsive acceleration, and a class-competitive driving range. Indeed, the IONIQ 5's rear-wheel configuration yields a projected range of 480 km, while its all-wheel drive offering is expected to travel up to 432 km on a full charge. Speaking of charges, the upcoming IONIQ 5's 800-volt architecture makes for swift charging times, going from 10 to 80 percent in about 20 minutes with the 77.4-kWh battery.
